Devs on item trading situation

More than a month ago the PUBG community was struck by the devs decision to ban item trading. This was followed by Valve's same decision on the CS:GO items and felt more like a backstab to the major part of the audience. In the Brendan Greene's AMA request branch on reddit one of the PUBG community managers commented on the current state of the market situation.

We just don’t have a timeline for it yet. It’s a complicated issue because turning it off killed one major incentive for cheaters to keep fucking up the game. A lot of players think we should leave trading turned off. Those who were taking items off-market obviously feel otherwise. A decision about bringing it back hasn’t yet been made, either way.

Probably the game developers should work more on the anticheat measures and game enhancements rather than taking ambiguous measures  to the whole community.
