Wildcards

Three teams have received a Wildcard invitation to the Playoffs Upper Bracket as a result of their performance in the following regional tournaments:

MONSTER PROTALITY Season 7: HOWL Esports

D/A/CH Meisterschaft 2023: SAMMLER

Telialigaen Spring 2023: Formulation Gaming

Vikendi

In addition to the usual map rotation of Erangel, Miramar, and Taego, Vikendi will make its regional debut at PEC: Fall. Vikendi will challenge players to bring their A-game… as well as their cold-weather gear!

PGC 2023 Qualification

Not only will the PEC: Fall champion earn the lion’s share of the $100,000 prize pool, they will also receive a guaranteed spot in the PUBG Global Championship 2023 taking place in Bangkok, Thailand this November.

And for all EMEA teams in the hunt for PGC Qualification, PEC: Fall will be the last chance to earn vital PGC Points. The five teams with the most PGC Points after PEC: Fall will qualify for PGC 2023, so there’s all to play for.

In total, EMEA will send seven teams to PGC - Twisted Minds, who have already secured qualification via PGS Points earned at global events; the winner of PEC: Fall; and the five top-ranked squads on the PGC Point table.

Who To Watch

HOWL: The Champions of PEC: Spring return! Earlier this year, HOWL proved the might of MEA by dominating the competition in a tense final match. Will they secure a back-to-back victory?

Exalt: It’s been a phenomenal year for Exalt so far. With the addition of star player Ubah to their roster, their chances of qualifying to PGC 2023 have never been higher! With that said, they’ll need to have a top five performance again

FUT Esports, Acend Club & FaZe Clan: These teams make up the rest of the top five in terms of the PGC Points leaderboard. Even though they’re in prime position to qualify for PGC 2023, they’ll need to keep up the pressure if they want to guarantee their tickets to Bangkok - as the teams near the middle of the scoreboard (such as Digital Athletics, NAVI and Question Mark) are hot on their heels and could certainly win qualification spots if the leading teams don’t bring their A-game.
