Soniqs won PUBG Global Series 2
American team Soniqs became the winner of the LAN-tournament PUBG Global Series 2. In the grand finals, the team made 89 kills and scored a total of 159 points in 18 matches, leaving their nearest pursuer 13 points behind.
Twisted Minds finished the tournament in second place, while Queston Mark closed the top three. Natus Vincere took only 12th place at the championship.
Soniqs received $600k and 300 PGS qualification points for the victory; the silver medalist received $260k and 180 points (see below for detailed prize distribution).
PUBG Global Series 2 took place from August 10 to 20 in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, as part of the Gamers8 festival. The total prize pool of the event amounted to two million US dollars.
