Gen.G release its lineup
South Korean eSports club Gen.G Esports has announced the complete dissolution of its PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS roster, which included Na "Inonix" Hee-joo, Seo "Renba" Jae-young, Lee "Spear" Dong-su, Jeong "Adder" Ji-hun and coach Jo "Asura" Sang-won. According to the official announcement, the players have left the organisation due to the expiration of their contracts.
Gen.G Esports opened a PUBG division in 2018. Since then, the club's squads have earned over three and a half million dollars in prize money in the discipline. It is not yet known if the club plans to sign a new PUBG roster.
Gen.G Esports finished 31st at last year's PUBG Global Championship 2022 in Dubai and earned over $16,000 in prize money. The team also finished in the top 5 at PUBG Continental Series 7: Asia.
