Two players depart from Kwangdong Freecs
South Korean eSports club Kwangdong Freecs announced changes to its PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS roster. Kim "Hikari" Dong-hwan and Lim "Akad" Gwang-hyun have left the team. Both have represented the organization since December 2020.
In addition, Kwangdong Freecs has re-signed the remaining members of the team: Roh "EEND" Tae-young, Kim "LashK" Dong-jun, and Choi "Jayden" Won-pyo. The latter serves as the coach of the lineup.
Kwangdong Freecs finished in 13th place at last year's PUBG Global Championship 2022 in Dubai and earned $58,000 in prize money. The squad also made the top 7 at PUBG Continental Series 7: Asia.
