Wildcard Gaming released PUBG squad

North American esports organization Wildcard Gaming has announced the decision to release its PUBG: Battlegrounds lineup. As stated in the official statement, this decision was made due to the unsatisfactory results of the teams. Players will continue to perform under the Ascendance Esports tag.

In February of 2021 we signed the former free agent roster consisting of Zrayven “Zrayven” Rahman, Gabriel “Maji” Elliott , Jacob “Zealot” Klessig, and Kory “Tsok” Verschoore. It was an exciting acquisition for the organization as we re entered PUBG and picked up a roster with a lot of developmental upside. Having the team a part of the organization the past 14 months was an honor. Each one of the players are a class act and represented themselves and the organization with respect. The team exceeded expectations through 2021 as we had a shot to qualify for worlds at year end. Heading into 2022 the expectations were to break through and qualify for worlds this year. Sadly the start of the year did not meet the players or the organization’s expectations. After a heartbreaking set of qualifiers to qualify for PCS 6 with the team missing out by 1 point the players decided to make changes to the roster and or go their separate ways. As such we felt it was also time as an organization to move on.

We would like to thank the team for their hard work, good attitudes and the relationships built through the past year. We wish each of the the best of luck in their future teams and opportunities.

Wildcard Gaming signed the team in June 2021. Since then, the squad has earned $25,500 in prize money. The players failed to qualify for the PUBG Continental Series 6.

Wildcard Gaming was one of the first organizations to open a PUBG division (this happened in July 2017). In July 2020, the club retired from the discipline. In total, Wildcard Gaming representatives have won over $130,000 in prize money in PUBG.призовых в PUBG.
