PlayerIGN: "Would like to see a more intuitive rework to the ammo/heal throwing mechanic."

Insider and dataminer PlayerIGN suggested that the developers of PUBG: Battlegrounds rework the mechanic that allows you to throw different items (first-aid kits, ammo, etc.) to your teammates from a distance.

Would like to see a more intuitive rework to the ammo/heal throwing mechanic.
Something more universal. Perhaps a potential opportunity to rework the melee slot into a throw slot?
Allow for throwing guns, attachments, heals & ammo, helmet & vest, and tactical gears.@CurdStuff

This feature was introduced back in 2019 and is not very popular despite being extremely effective in certain in-game scenarios.
