LABS: Monster Chicken Royale & Drops Event

Hello players!

Everyone seems to be craving that Chicken Dinner so we’ve prepared an extra big dish for you – meet a real-life Monster Chicken ravaging the streets of Karakin in this LABS update, Monster Chicken Royale! Not only will you have to be wary of enemy players, but you’ll also have to watch out for that monstrous beak’s deadly pecks, earsplitting cock-a-doodle-doos, and yes, fiery breath attacks.

Basic Rules

• Monster Chicken Royale follows the same ol’ battle royale rules, but with an extra enemy – the Monster Chicken – squeezed in between.
• Once a match starts, the Monster Chicken (50 meters tall) will spawn and start roaming on the map.
  • The Monster Chicken can attack as well, and with each phase its attack patterns will vary.
• Players can observe the Monster Chicken’s location any time through the chicken-shaped icon on the World Map.
• Every player will also have the HP bar of the Monster Chicken displayed on their screen.
  • HP bar will deplete when Monster Chicken receives damage.
• The way to earn that Winner Winner Monster Chicken Dinner is very simple: Either make the Monster Chicken’s HP hit 0 or like usual, be the last one standing by eliminating every foe player on the Battlegrounds.

Items

Only the following items will world spawn in this mode.

• Weapon: LMG (and ammo), M79
• Weapon attachments: 2x Scope, Canted Sight
• Equipment: Helmet (Lv.2), Backpack (Lv.2), Vest (Lv.2)
• Items: Smoke Grenade, Heal and Boost items
• Vehicle: UAZ

Others

• Blue Zone
  • The Blue Zone will be faster and stronger in this mode.
  • The Safe Zone for each phase will be set based on the Monster Chicken’s current location.
    • The Safe Zone will simultaneously follow the Monster Chicken’s movements. Stay inside to avoid getting your health burned!
• Black Zone
  • The hazardous Black Zone exclusive to Karakin will be activated.
  • The Monster Chicken does not receive damage from the Black Zone.

Service Schedule

Monster Chicken Royale will run during the following period:

• PC & Console
  • PDT: April 1, 12 AM – April 11, 12 AM
  • CEST: April 1, 9 AM – April 11, 9 AM
  • KST: April 1, 4 PM – April 11, 4 PM

Gameplay Settings

• Map: Karakin
• Only supports TPP / Squad mode
  • Supports 1-Man Squad as well
• Minimum number of starting players: 12
• Maximum number of starting players: 32

Notes When Playing in LABS

• LABS games do not provide XP or gameplay rewards.
• LABS gameplay will not be reflected on the Career page.
• LABS gameplay will not be reflected on Match History.
• LABS gameplay does not support replay.

• Win a single match of Monster Chicken Royale.

Event Period

• During the LABS: Monster Chicken Royale service period.
  • PC & Console
    • PDT: April 1, 12 AM – April 11, 12 AM
    • CEST: April 1, 9 AM – April 11, 9 AM
    • KST: April 1, 4 PM – April 11, 4 PM

Important Notes

• This event will only apply to LABS: Monster Chicken Royale.
• Players may receive the reward only once per account.
• If you win a Monster Chicken Royale match as a Squad, every teammate will receive the reward.
• If you happen to change your PUBG nickname during the event period, you may not be able to receive your reward without further notice.
• Matches won by abusing an unexpected in-game bug and/or through other unfair methods will not be counted.
• The reward will be:
  • PC: Granted starting from April 13 (after Live Server update) to the latest by April 22, 10 AM UTC.
  • Console (Xbox, PlayStation®, Stadia): Granted starting from April 21 (after Live Server update) to the latest by April 29, 10 AM UTC.

Partner Drops: Monster Chicken Royale

Our PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Partners will also be participating in this special Partner Drops to hand out amusing Monster Chicken sprays!

Here are some notes to keep in mind for Partner Drops:

• You’ll be able to receive rewards through our PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Partners only.
• The spray rewards are no longer obtainable after the event period.
• You must have a KRAFTON ID and link it to your gaming platform AND Twitch/each region’s streaming platform to receive your reward.
• Streaming platforms other than Twitch may hand out redeem codes instead of Drops.
• Rewards for Console platforms can be acquired after the Live Server Update (Xbox, PlayStation®, Stadia).
