PUBG Devs: Turning off the Zakynthos service has no impact on anti-cheat effectiveness
A few days ago, an insider and dataminer PlayerIGN said that the Zakynthos anti-cheat, which the developers of PUBG: Battlegrounds implemented in the game in January this year, can be disabled without any consequences through the "Task Manager" in Windows.
Today, a representative of the PUBG development team explained that this does not affect the work of the anti-cheat - it continues to function even after the process is terminated:
Although turning off the Zakynthos service has no impact on anti-cheat effectiveness, we are planning to put out some changes so that you’ll no longer be able to force quit the service. Just an FYI.
