The Final PCS Event Before PGC: PCS Recap
The developers of PUBG: Battlegrounds have published the current distribution of PGC qualification points required to qualify for the main championship of 2021 - these points teams earned during the season. As of now (before the start of the PUBG Continental Series 5 Finals), the rankings for each region are as follows.
Since 2020, PCS has been an exciting endeavor in sharing regional Championship moments with the fans of PUBG Esports! Starting with the PUBG Charity Showdown and four PUBG Continental Series events, PCS5 is the FINAL PCS before the PUBG Global Championship later this year.
We’ve been shocked and bamboozled by match-defining moments as teams in Asia, APAC, Americas, and Europe set themselves apart from the rest of the pack. In the weeks between events, some rosters and rules have changed as our teams focus on survival, but the eagerness to see another action-packed tournament of unwavering PUBG Esports history does not subside!
Starting September 16th, the final battle before PGC crashes into Asia, APAC, Europe and the Americas. 64 teams across 4 regions will fight for a prize pool exceeding $1M+ between all four regions. The teams who come out on top will move into PGC where they have a chance to claim global domination!

It’s important to remember the moments leading up to PCS5 - the teams who stood out and reigned supreme in the PCS timeline. In 2021 and starting with PCS4, teams and players shifted their focus to scoring PGC Points - in an attempt to focus their efforts on scoring a PGC invite later this year while stacking some cold hard cash along the way.
