BBL Esports sign former Digital Athletics squad

BBL Esports, the Turkish esports organization founded in 2020, has signed a lineup in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, which was previously performing under the Digital Athletics tagline. This is BBL Esports' maiden appearance on the professional PUBG scene. The organization also owns a Valorant team.

ex-Digital Athletics lineup scandalously left the organization and announced it was looking for a new sponsor in mid-April. According to team member Samil "Mitraleius" Özkan, after the end of PGI.S the players entered the negotiation stage with the management of the club, but the parties could not come to an agreement, and it was decided to stop cooperation.

Digital Athletics finished sixth at the PUBG Global Invitational.S Championship in South Korea and earned $391,000.
