WackyJacky101, a well-known content maker in the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds community, suggested the reason why many users started complaining about PUBG performance issues after the recent patch.

A ton of people are reporting huge FPS problems + stutter with the latest PUBG patch. This likely isnt caused by PUBG (and so not their fault) but instead the combination of the latest windows update + NVIDIA driver. Try installing an older NVIDIA driver instead!

Earlier WackyJacky101 expressed his opinion on the changes in a tournament format in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, which caused the developers to face another wave of criticism from cyber athletes and fans of competitive PUBG.
