PGC 2019 prize pool exceeded $6 million
By the final day of the PUBG Global Championship 2019, the prize pool of the main PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds championship in 2019 was increased by the community to six million U.S. dollars! Recall that the initial amount of prize money is $2 million, so the exceeding amount will go to the three strongest teams of the tournament:
- Gen.G – $2.3 million
- 4AM – $1.4 million
- FaZe Clan – $749 thousand
However, fundraising is not yet complete: fans can increase these amounts by 26 November by purchasing PGC 2019 skins.
Recall that a quarter of all profits from the sale of the PGC 2019 thematic set of skins goes to the tournament prize pool. Another 25% will be divided between teams within the Pick'Em Challenge event (the percentage of prize money for each team will be determined based on the votes for the teams during the event). The remaining half of PUBG Corp.'s profit will be shared directly between the contestants.
