The last year past under the PUBG flag on the gaming scene, its success resulted a multiple record breaking events. The game has passed a 20 million player database and a result became the most successful product of the year. Today the developers have announced that they are willing to spend some of the profits for charity.

Hello Players,

From January 29th until February 2nd, PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS is teaming up with Extra Life to raise $300,000 for sick and injured Kids in the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital System. This is one of many charity events we’ll be doing as part of our Gamescom Invitational Crate Charity Funds Initiative.

This year we are committed to putting the money raised from the Gamescom Crates Key towards charitable causes. $2 Million from 2017’s Gamecom Crate Key sales will be donated to multiple charities: Extra Life, Gamers Outreach and an additional charity campaign to take place later 2018. In addition to this Extra Life event, we’ve already donated $100,000 for the Twitch PUBG Winter Invitation in December 2017. We will be also working with Gamers Outreach to host a Gamers for Giving 2018 LAN Tournament in April 28-29, 2018.
