PUBG Global Championship 2026 Officially Announced

The developers of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS have officially announced the PUBG Global Championship 2026, the game’s premier tournament of the year. The event will take place from December 1 to 13 in Istanbul, Turkey, with an initial prize pool of $1.5 million, supplemented by crowdfunding.

The tournament will consist of three stages: the Qualifying Stage, the Survival Stage, and the Grand Finals. The Qualifying Stage will be held over a single day with 16 participating teams. The top eight teams will advance to Survival Stage Day 1, while the remaining eight teams will move to Survival Stage Day 2.

The Survival Stage will run for five days with 16 teams competing. The winner of each day will qualify directly for the Grand Finals. On the final day of the stage, teams will compete for the remaining four spots in the Grand Finals, which will take place over three days and feature 15 matches.

A total of 32 teams will participate in PGC 2026. Eight teams will receive direct invitations to the Grand Finals, another eight will advance directly to the Survival Stage, and the remaining 16 will begin from the Qualifying Stage. Invitations will be determined based on teams’ performances throughout the season. The organizers have allocated four slots for PEC participants and eight slots for PGS participants.
