PUBG Improves Anti-Cheat Measures

The developers of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS have announced improvements to the game's anti-cheat system. The update was shared via the official PUBG Support account on the social network X.

To strengthen our response against DMA (Direct Memory Access)-based unauthorized programs, we have enhanced the functionality of Zakynthos, our proprietary anti-cheat solution.

This update allows us to more precisely detect and analyze the behavior of DMA-based cheats that attempt to bypass anti-cheat systems, laying the groundwork for effective enforcement actions.

We have been consistently addressing DMA-based methods for some time and will continue to take strong action against DMA-based cheat programs that use various evasion techniques.

As a result of this latest enhancement, we have permanently banned over 30,000 accounts, and we will remain vigilant in responding to DMA-based threats.

The PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS team remains committed to creating a fair and enjoyable gameplay environment through continuous monitoring and anti-cheat improvements.

Earlier, the developers reported banning approximately 22,000 accounts and 12,000 devices as part of their ongoing efforts to maintain fair play.
