PUBG Player Numbers Decline for Second Consecutive Month

In May 2025, the average PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS player count dropped by nearly 4% compared to April, with the monthly average once again falling below the 310,000 mark.

The peak concurrent player count in May reached 804,000, down by 57,000 from the previous month, according to data from Steam Charts.

For context, PUBG’s all-time peak was recorded in January 2018, when the game boasted an average of over 1.5 million monthly players and a peak of more than 3.2 million concurrent users.
