PUBG Player Count Declines Again in January

According to Steam Charts, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS saw another drop in its player count this January. The average monthly player base fell by over four percent compared to December 2024, bringing the number below 310,000 once again.

The peak player count for the month reached 786,000, marking a decline of 13,000 from the previous month. Despite the drop, these numbers remain among the highest in recent years.

For comparison, PUBG reached its all-time peak in January 2018, when the game averaged over 1.5 million players per month, with a record-breaking peak of more than 3.2 million concurrent users.
