The organizers of the PUBG Global Championship 2024 have fined two Chinese teams, 17Gaming and Tianba Esports, for colluding to exchange drop spots during the sixth match of the tournament's second circuit.

As a penalty, both teams were docked two points at the start of the first match in the third circuit. No further disciplinary actions were announced. The incident and sanctions were officially disclosed on the PUBG Esports website.

The PUBG Global Championship 2024 is ongoing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with 24 teams competing for an initial prize pool of $1.5 million, supplemented by funds raised via the Pick'em Challenge.
