PUBG to Enforce Stricter Penalties for Keyboard and Mouse Use on Consoles
The developers of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS have announced enhanced measures to penalize players using keyboards and mice on the console version of the game. These new penalties will take effect starting November 27, as detailed on the official PUBG website.
We’ve received numerous requests from the community to strengthen measures against usage of Keyboard/Mouse on Console, and we have been closely monitoring relevant reports and activities.
However, due to to the allowance of external recognition devices, such as USBs on Console platforms, implementing these actions were being delayed.
At PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, the use of Keyboards or Mouse on Console platforms is considered to be unauthorized.
Therefore, we have decided to enhance the penalty for this issue.
We sincerely apologize for the delay in implementing these measures and truly appreciate your patience and continued support.
With this update, the PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Team remains committed to reinforcing penalties for unauthorized keyboard and mouse usage on Console platforms going forward.
Additionally, the developers have scheduled preventive maintenance for the game main servers on the same day, early in the morning, to ensure smooth gameplay and stability.
