Soniqs win Esports World Cup 2024 trophy

American team Soniqs became the winner of the LAN-tournament Esports World Cup 2024. The team made 60 kills and scored a total of 113 points in 12 matches, leaving behind their closest pursuer by 4 points in the grand finals,
Petrichor Road finished the tournament on the second line, and FaZe Clan closed the top three. Natus Vincere took only tenth place at the championship, while BetBoom Team was 14th.
For the victory Soniqs received $700 thousand and 300 PGS qualification points; the silver medalist got $350 thousand and 180 points (see below for detailed prize distribution). Notably, Soniqs also won last year's championship in Riyadh.
Esports World Cup 2024 for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS took place from August 21-25 with 24 teams participating. The total prize pool of the event amounted to two million US dollars.
