South Korea Cho "seoul" Gi-yeol of Danawa e-sports was crowned as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the PUBG Global Series 1 tournament in Malaysia.

seoul scored 61 kills and made 35 assists in a total of 42 matches through the course of the tournament. The esports athlete inflicted 316 damage on average per game.

PUBG Global Series 1 took place from April 27 to May 7 in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur. The prize pool for PGS1 was half a million U.S. dollars. Chinese team 17 Gaming won the championship.
