Gen.G is down to two

South Korean team Gen.G has announced drastic changes in its PUBG: Battlegrounds lineup. The team released two eSports athletes - Cha "Pio" Seung-hoon and Go "Esther" Jeong-won. Both have finished their careers as professional PUBG players.

Coach Kim "Chelator" Min-ki has also left the team. The club renewed contracts with Na "Inonix" Hee-Joo, head coach Bae "WatchinU" Seong-hu and Jo "Asura" Sang-won. The latter is now both a coach and a roster player.

Gen.G placed eighth at the PUBG Global Championship 2021 and earned $121,000. As a reminder, the club won the PGC in 2019 with two million dollars in prize money.
