7Teen steps down from Optic

The North Americans from Optic Gaming have announced that their PUBG squad captain is leaving the team:

As of today, we are releasing Tanner ‘7Teen’ Curtis from the OpTic Gaming PUBG team. Tanner originally signed with us back in November 2017, along with the rest of the former Why Tempt Fate roster. Tanner’s leadership was instrumental to OpTic PUBG’s efforts throughout the beginnings of the title’s tournament scene, with notable successes at Auzom PL, PUBGONline, and most recently with a 4th place finish at GLL Season 1 Grand Finals.

With his release, the roster now has a void – one not yet filled. Fans should expect more news regarding the roster in the near future as we round out the squad.

We would like to thank Tanner for the contributions he’s made on our behalf over the last half-year. Whatever his next steps may be, he has our support – and we hope he has yours as well.

Unfortunately there is no info on why this measures have been taken, the squad is currently down to 3 players:

  •  Ian «Bahawaka» Crowe
  •  Michael «hypoc» Robbins
  •  John «Hetror» Bent
