Russian servers postponed for unknown time

Last autumn when PlayerUnknown has been in Moscow alongside with showmatches for the community some agreements with the Russian Mail.ru group has been achieved. As a part of these agreements there has been announced that in the first quarter of 2018 Russian servers would be established and running for the community, like for example was in Japan in cooperation with the local company.
Unfortunately for the whole CIS region these agreements were not met and Mail.ru has published an official announce declaring there would be a delay in server deployment for a few months:

Friends! We know your are longing for Russian PUBG servers launch. It has been scheduled for the first quarter of this year but unfortunately for several reason we have to postpone it. We and developers regret that we couldn't fulfill our promisses, but we are working hard on their establishment. As soon as we know the exact date of deployment we will let you know!
