Dreamhack Austin will host a PUBG tournament

The amount of ongoing PUBG tournaments is quite promising at the moment, in a couple of hours we have PGL starting and yesterday Dreamhack representatives have published an announced they would host a tournament.

DreamHack is proud to announce that PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, which has taken the gaming world by storm, is the latest major esport tournament coming to DreamHack Austin, June 1-3! The main event will feature squads with all Bring-Your-Own-Computer (BYOC) participants having a chance onsite to earn a slot to the main competition. Additionally, online players will have a chance to qualify for the competition and earn their way to DreamHack Austin!
 

DreamHack Austin takes place at the Austin Convention Center from June 1-3, and will feature the traditional BYOC LAN party, multiple esport stages, the latest gaming exhibitors, tabletop games, panels, cosplay and tons more activities. Tickets are available now, so if you want to catch the action onsite, be sure to grab your ticket today, and if you want to play onsite, then make sure to get a BYOC ticket. The BYOC qualifier will take place on June 1, with the main squad events taking place June 2 and June 3. Additionally, on June 1 we will be featuring a community challenge in duos, which will pit the biggest streamers and pros up against the community.
