American esports athlete Matt "Kickstart" Smith has left Luminocity Gaming's PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS roster. This was announced by the team's coach, adding that he and his teammates are now testing potential replacement candidates. Kickstart himself explained that he received an offer he couldn't refuse.
Kickstart has represented Luminocity Gaming since March this year, and has previously played for eUnited, Oath Gaming, Zenith E-Sports and other clubs. Throughout his career as a professional player in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, he has earned $417,000 in prize money.
Luminocity Gaming finished in 20th place at the last PUBG Global Series 2 Championship in Saudi Arabia and was rewarded with $20,000 in prize money.
