Special Summer Event for Steam: Check-In for Hot Rewards!

Hello players!

In need of a refresher amongst this sizzling weather? (Or some warmth if you’re on the other side of the globe?)

Two special summer events, Check-in to Survive and Play & Earn Survival Points are here this week to hand out exciting rewards: a Mini14 skin, Contraband Coupons, costumes and more!

All you need to do is check-in, play, and receive! Let’s find out more below.

※ Due to technical issues, the events below are available to PC Steam users only. However, a check-in event (identical rewards) for Console users is coming up in our July Special Drops so check out the details there!

Event #1: Check-In to Survive

Access the game everyday and earn a permanent Summer Surf — Mini14 skin! But watch out, as each day you do not check in will have your distributed event «♥ (Life)» get depleted!

Event Period

※ The time and dates below are subject to change.

  • PDT: July 13, 2 AM — July 27, 1:59 AM
  • CEST: July 13, 11 AM — July 27, 10:59 AM
  • KST: July 13, 6 PM — July 27, 5:59 PM

How the Event Works

  1. Access PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS within the period shown above.
  2. Press the Special Summer Event banner in the lobby. The banner will take you to the event website.
  3. Click the Join Event button within the first week of the event period and you will instantly receive 3 ♥.
    1. The Join Event button will be disabled starting from Day 8. Make sure to participate within the first 7 days for that permanent reward!
  4. Scroll down and make sure to press the Check-In button to receive your daily ♥ as well!
    1. You will then receive Summer Surf — Mini14 (3 days), available in your CUSTOMIZE tab.
  5. You can extend the time-limited use of Summer Surf — Mini14 by checking in every day.
  6. To change your 3-day Mini14 skin to a permanent item, you must make sure your ♥ does not drop to 0 during the event period and until the event’s last day.
    1. Access the event website any time through the lobby banner to check out your current ♥ and check-in progress.
  7. Press the Check-In button at the event website each day and receive 1 ♥ per check-in!
    1. 1 ♥ will get depleted per day you do not check-in.
    2. The Check-In button will reset at UTC 9 AM / PDT 2 AM / CEST 11 AM per day.

Reward

Summer Surf — Mini14

  • If you succeed in maintaining more than 1 ♥, your permanent Summer Surf — Mini14 skin will be distributed to your CUSTOMIZE tab as soon as the event ends (and by July 29 UTC the latest).

Event #2: Play & Earn Survival Points

Check-in daily at the event website, play a match for at least 30 minutes, receive points, and exchange them for various in-game rewards at the Survival Point Shop!

How the Event Works

  • Access PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS within the period shown above.
  • Press the Special Summer Event banner in the lobby. The banner will take you to the event website.
  • Click the Join Event button (if you haven’t already for Event 1).
  • Scroll down and press the Check-In button for your daily check-in.
    • The Check-In button will reset at UTC 9 AM / PDT 2 AM / CEST 11 AM per day.
  • Go back to PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS and play at least 30 minutes.
    • Your check-in will be counted when your cumulative time of survival/spectating teammates reach at least 30 minutes per day. (Applies to Normal/Ranked matches only. Tutorial, Training, and Arcade modes are not counted.)
  • You will receive 10 Points per weekday and 20 Points per weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday UTC).
  • Exchange your points for in-game rewards at the Survival Point Shop through the Special Summer Event website.
    • Press the Exchange button for your desired reward.
    • The exchanged rewards will be immediately sent to your CUSTOMIZE tab.
