DreamHack PUBG Showdown Winter will feature $45,000 prize pool

DreamHack announced a new tournament on PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds from the DreamHack PUBG Showdown tournament series. The total prize fund of the event has been increased to 45 thousand US dollars - $30 thousand of which will be played out in the European region, and the remaining $15 thousand - in the American one.

The competition will be held in several stages: in Europe from November 30 to December 3, the organizers will hold open qualifiers for all teams(sign up here). 16 strongest teams from the open stage will then fight each other; 7 winners will advance to the next round, where they will be joined by 17 more invited teams.

14 strongest teams and two other invited participants will play in the final, which is scheduled for December 18-20. More information about the format and distribution of the prize access on the official DreamHack website.

Victory on the previous DreamHack PUBG Showdown event has been achieved by Team Liquid.
