Sign-up for the IEM Katowice qualifiers!

ESL has opened the registration for the upcoming IEM Katowice PUBG Invitational championship with a $50,000 prize pool. 16 teams will take part in the competition: 9 of them will be directly invited (three teams each from NA, EU, and Asia), and the other 7 will have to battle their way through the following regional qualifiers:

All three qualifiers will have open and closed parts. Open round will feature up to 512 teams (there are already more than 400 teams registered in Europe). 8 invited teams and 8 winners of the open stage will battle each other in the closed stage. ESL will hold all three qualifiers during coming weekends (European division will start this saturday).

For Europe and North America

Three rounds of Open Qualifier:
  • Round 1. - 512 teams, 32 groups, three matches, top 4 of each group go through to Round 2
  • Round 2. - 128 teams, 8 groups, three matches, top 4 of each group go through to Round 3
  • Round 3. - 32 teams, 2 groups, five matches, the top 4 teams qualify for closed Qualifier
One round of Closed Qualifier:
  • 16 teams (8 direct invites and 8 qualified teams from the open qualifier) each region
  • Closed Qualifier - 16 teams, 1 group, five matches, top 3 will qualify for IEM Katowice

For South America

Four rounds of Open Qualifier:
  • Round 1. - 512 teams, 32 groups, three matches, top 4 of each group go through to Round 2
  • Round 2. - 128 teams, 8 groups, three matches, top 4 of each group go through to Round 3
  • Round 3. - 32 teams, 2 groups, five matches, the top 8 of each group go through to Round 4
  • Round 4, - 16 teams, 1 group, five matches, the winner team will qualify for IEM Katowice

Keep in mind that there are travel requirements for participants: to attend the main event players must be able to travel to and stay in Poland for at least February 22-26.
