PUBG’s Average Concurrent Player Count Drops 9% in May

In May, the average concurrent player count for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS decreased by nearly nine percent compared to April 2026. As a result, the game’s average monthly player count fell to approximately 320,000 users.

According to Steam Charts, PUBG reached a peak of 822,000 concurrent players in May, which is about 157,000 fewer than the previous month.

As a reminder, PUBG recorded its highest player numbers in January 2018, when the game averaged more than 1.5 million monthly players and reached a peak of over 3.2 million concurrent users.
