In a surprising turn of events, the European esports organization Formulation Gaming has announced the dissolution of its PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS team, just over a month after its formation. Despite the disbandment, the club has indicated it will not completely withdraw from the game.
The team included notable players such as David "Fuzzface" Tillberg-Persson from Sweden, Anssi "mxey" Pekkonen from Finland, Sturla "intenZ" Hoberg and Erik "SIMSY" Gravrok from Norway, and Nikolaj "clib" Madsen from Denmark. The latter left the team a week after joining, subsequently announcing his retirement from professional gaming.
